Project description:
Since 2018, KCA London has worked closely with a leading cultural destination in Saudi Arbai, supporting the development of multiple key strategies, operational frameworks and staff growth. KCA was commissioned on several occasions to provide expert guidance in building the systems, frameworks and skills needed to realise the client’s vision of establishing a world-leading cultural destination.
We were appointed to help shape both the strategic direction and long-term operational capacity of the region’s emerging cultural offer. Our work included developing a Learning and Engagement strategy – a suite of documents to guide teams in creating world-class resources that connect visitors with heritage – a Community Engagement Strategy to strengthen local participation, and operational planning for a major annual festival. Alongside this, we supported the creation and development of a guiding team, designing recruitment frameworks, delivering induction and presentation training, and setting out a five-year plan for their professional growth, of which we delivered multiple bespoke programmes.
Through close collaboration with the client’s team, we established the foundations for long-term strategy development, articulating ambitions so that they may be realised in practical delivery. Each strategy was developed within its unique context, but together they created shared ways of working across departments, established consistent standards for developing experiences and communicating to visitors, all of which built lasting capacity within the clients’ teams to support continued growth as a world-leading cultural destination.
