Project description:

Following the success of the ‘Brain Zone’ exhibition, the Life Science Centre commissioned us to design its new space gallery –  an immersive exhibition where visitors of all ages could learn about the universe and the space programmes that are uncovering its secrets. 

Our approach was to create an atmospheric experience with distinct, but coherent, zones that offer a consistent and navigable experience without relying on a linear narrative. For each zone, we then designed physical and digital interactives that encourage discussion and collaboration between visitors, echoing the ingenuity and teamwork needed in space programmes. As well as designing the exhibition, we also assisted Life in their contracting and oversight of the exhibition build contractors, ensuring that our original design intent was achieved.
