Project description:

We were asked to create an exhibition celebrating the over 600-year history of the Tower of London’s menagerie, taking the project from concept development to installation. 

We took a story-led approach, selecting key narratives on individual animals, to make the content relevant and engaging to a wide range of visitors. To bring these stories to life, we created a highly tactile, sensory experience that immersed audiences in the menagerie’s history. This included a range of accessible, intuitive interactives, designed to be robust enough to withstand the Tower’s high footfall. We also managed the production and installation of the exhibition. Royal Beasts welcomes over 800,000 visitors a year, and was the winner of the Best Leisure Product Award 2011 (BETA).
