STEAM Innovation Centre

Project description:

In 2021, STEAM Azerbaijan was in the process of setting up the country’s first science centre – a pilot project to bring STEAM-themed informal education to local students and families. 

We were brought in to support and guide the internal project team as they undertook this task, their first project of this type. We worked hand-in-hand with the team on all aspects of the centre’s development and operational planning. This included helping define and shape organisational strategy and plan the development process; developing operational plans and procedures; and acting as the team’s representative, briefing and overseeing key subcontractors. We also ran a bespoke two-week training course to prepare their newly appointed, largely inexperienced, front-of-house team for opening.
